NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital (NYPBMH) is a regional hospital of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Health System affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College. We are a 650-bed community-based teaching hospital. The Pulmonary division is active in a wide range of pulmonary diseases including: pulmonary hypertension (we are a regional center of excellence of the PHA), interventional pulmonology, lung cancer screening, asthma (active Xolair and Nucala administration clinic), lung transplant evaluation (affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center), and sleep medicine. We have a devoted research coordinator in the division. We are active in the local IRB and have a well-functioning grants management program. We have a comprehensive pulmonary physiology laboratory that provides the full spectrum of pulmonary function testing. We have the only pulmonary rehabilitation program in Brooklyn. Overall, we are well-situated to participate in the ACRC Network.
