Dupilumab Is Effective in Patients With Moderate-to-Severe Uncontrolled GINA-Defined Type 2 Asthma Irrespective of an Allergic Asthma Phenotype

This study found that the drug dupilumab helped to reduce exacerbations and increase lung function in patients with Asthma, regardless of allergic asthma status. This is important because it provides new guidelines for asthma therapy in patients to reduce their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Co-author Mario Castro is an ACRC investigator.
