This study showed that maternal vaccination for COVID-19 was associated with reduced risk of COVID-19 hospitalization of infants younger than 6 months of age. This is important as infants are at high risk for COVID-19 complications and are not eligible for vaccination, which is a call to action for pregnant people to get vaccinated.
