MAGNET: A web-based application for gene set enrichment analysis using macrophage data sets

This research introduces a free and powerful web-based tool for cataloging genetic results from many studies of macrophages, which are white blood cells that are critical to immune function. This is important because it affords researchers access to shared genetic data which will accelerate macrophage research, especially in lung disease research. Senior author Deborah Winter, PhD, was awarded the Lung Association Dalsemer Grant for her work in pulmonary fibrosis.
