Anticoagulation and Antiplatelet Therapy for Prevention of Venous and Arterial Thrombotic Events in Critically Ill Patients with COVID-19: COVID-PACT

This study showed that treating critically ill COVID-19 patients with anti-clotting drugs significantly reduced the number of clotting complications. This is important because it is a discovery of a critical treatment consideration for COVID-19 patients which can reduce the number of blood clots while in the hospital, significantly improving survival outcomes.
