I spend a lot of time outdoors, because I bike and walk almost everywhere I go.Bad air quality affects me directly. I don't like the burning feeling in my throat on Air Quality Action Days when ozone levels are high.

Being car-free helps me maintain a healthy lifestyle, but I need clean air to stay healthy. We can do something about our air quality by supporting regulations to reduce emissions. Strong air quality regulations are cost effective. Every dollar we spend to clean the air pays us back many times over by saving medical costs related to diseases caused by air pollution.
