American Lung Association Elevates Southeast Regional Board Chair Eddie Fisher to National Board Committee Role

The American Lung Association today announced the appointment of Eddie Fisher, RICP, CPFA, to the Investment Sub-Committee of the National Board of Directors. Fisher will continue in his roles supporting efforts across Florida and the Southeast, including chair of the Southeast Regional Board, chair of the Central Florida Board and member of the National Regional Relations Committee.

“It is an honor to expand my service with the American Lung Association,” said Fisher. “I began my journey with the Lung Association six years ago as a way to honor my parents. My father passed away from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. I can’t think of a better tribute than helping lead investments that will fuel lifesaving research, education and advocacy. Because when you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.”

In addition to his work with the Lung Association, Fisher leads Eddie Fisher Wealth Strategies of Raymond James, serving as first vice president, investments. For nearly 25 years, he has helped individuals and families manage their wealth by developing comprehensive, personalized investment strategies. Along with other members of the Investment Sub-Committee, Fisher will oversee and make recommendations regarding the investment of the Lung Association’s assets.
