American Lung Association hosts ‘Live Like Laurie’ Golf Outing Fundraiser for Lung Cancer Research

Event open to public, to take place at The Golf Club of Dublin on August 5th

Join the American Lung Association for a day on the links at the ‘Live Like Laurie’ Golf Outing, a fundraising event to help save lives through education, advocacy and research.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, August 5th, will be hosted at The Golf Club of Dublin in Dublin, Ohio and is presented in partnership with Parallel Technologies. Golfing will begin at 8:00 AM, followed by a 1:00 PM lunch.

“Laurie, known by many of her friends and family as ‘Loopie’, had the ability to light up a room. She always made others feel loved, heard and special. She was a bright and beautiful soul, a kindhearted person and the true definition of a friend,” said the organizers of the event.

The Lung Association invites all to contribute to this worthy cause in memory of Laurie. Registration is $125 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, all greens and cart fees and lunch. The fundraising goal is $20,000 and (at this writing) over $11,100 has been raised. To register, make a donation, or learn more about the event, visit Livelikelaurie.funraise.org.
