Tara L.

My mother was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in October 2014. She found a lump under her left arm - if it weren't for that lump, we would never have known the degree. It started out with colon cancer and a spot on her lung. It was a 10 hour surgery to remove the tumor. 2 years later, stage 4 lung cancer. We went to a cancer center to start her fight. Radiation, chemotherapy for her lungs and also the brain. Complications started to arise and it was too late. She passed not even a year later at 62. She was a smoker, but I know it's possible to get it without being a smoker. This whole experience lead me to join LUNG FORCE.
