Sherri S., NE

My dad passed away from lung cancer on Sept 15, 2009. He was the one who helped me and I was still in high school so when he didn't feel good. I came home and did my school work. I still got a diploma and my dad was proud of me. He didn't go to the hospital to die, stayed at home with his family. It was the hardest day in my life. I cried a lot that day but I was glad that he didn't have to suffer anymore. Lung cancer is one of the deadliest cancers there is. My dad couldn't stop smoking. Thank you for all you do for people's family.
