I'm 49 years old and a wife and mother of three. I was diagnosed with lung cancer on Dec. 7, 2010. I had a lobectomy, followed by chemo and radiation.

I remained NED until Feb. 29, 2016, when we discovered (after having unexplained seizures) that the cancer had metastasized to the brain. I had the tumor removed March 3, 2016, and cyber knifing followed by a new treatment using opdivo.

I am NED and working on watching my children grow and living my life.
