My husband was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, which had spread from his lung to his liver, a third of his hip bone, and eventually his brain. Receiving this news was the most overwhelming and devastating moment of our lives. We had never heard of this specific type of lung cancer before.

During his battle, my husband had to undergo physical therapy in a nursing home, where he ultimately passed away from the disease. His loss has completely changed my life.

We want to raise awareness about this type of lung cancer because if we hadn’t heard of it, we know many others haven’t either.
