Kelly L., AZ

I’m a 47 daughter of my mom who lost her battle to NSCLC. I was her caregiver until the end. Though it was the hardest job, I wouldn't change a thing. The stereotype I hate- Do you think you got cancer because you smoked? Guess what? Do you breath air?! Then everyone is at risk. It’s a hard road with few survivors and I still struggle with the grief knowing she’s gone. Here’s to my mom, best friend and a warrior to the end! My hero! Karen Kilgore.
