Katisha M., SC

My mom was told by her doctors early morning on 04/11/2018 that today that very day...would be her last day to live... She had just been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. She had just received her first round of chemo DAYS before. She was only 67. She didn’t even appear sick. My mom never wheezed, coughed or has shortness of breath. My mom lost her battle before she had time to begin to fight. I don’t wish this nightmare on anyone. If Mom's lung cancer had been discovered in an early she could have survived.

Early detection is the key. If you are over 55 and have a smoking history, you may be eligible for Lung Cancer screening. Few are aware that Lung Cancer causes the most cancer deaths worldwide!! Please help eradicate this awful disease!
