My story is very short. I knew something was wrong when I hadn't heard from my mom in awhile. I contacted others and found out she was in the hospital. We thought it was pneumonia in both lungs. The doctors found a growth and did a biopsy. It was lung cancer. She died the day after the diagnosis. It happened so fast there was no time. She was living in Costa Rica so I was not able to be there with her. Guilt on my part is huge. I am an only child.
