We found out that Grandma had stage 4 lung cancer in February, 2013. I was devastated and knew she wouldn't be with us long. It was heartbreaking to see her weakened by the cancer treatment. She was 79 years old and sadly passed away on August 12, 2013. Grandma did smoke most of her life. I think of her every day and continue to make others aware of the dangers of smoking and lung cancer.
