Crystal T., PA

I received cancer screening in 2021, after quitting smoking and being diagnosed with COPD. I smoked for 45 years, I'm now 59 years of age, on November 9th 2023 I had a lobectomy of the right upper lung lobe and I was diagnosed with NSCLC adenocarcinoma. Surgery was a success, and I didn't have to do any chemo or radiation, which was a blessing to me. Both my parents died from lung cancer. So quitting and starting screenings, allowed me to have an early diagnoses. Early detection is key.
