My husband was diagnosed almost ten years ago with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. It is not a death sentence. His prognosis was grim, but attitude and his own advocacy has contributed to his long term survival. Always ask questions, challenge your doctors and stay abreast on recent trials, drugs, etc. And never give up. Humor helps.
