After my husband Erick's cancer journey, I realized how much we lacked support, especially during the end of his life. Our family needed help to guide us through each stage, from diagnosis to hospice. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the support we desperately needed. We donated to ALA after Erick's death, in the hopes that no one else would have to go through what we went through. I support the American Lung Association today because I want others to know about and have access to the resources and support they need. This is our honest story, and I hope it helps improve care for others.
