I'm a retired Philadelphia firefighter who now has COPD from my work. I loved every single day of the job and would do it all over again a thousand times over. When I joined we were just given one Scott Breathing apparatus per engine or ladder. But there was more than one of us. So, I went without it for a long time unless ordered to when at last we got more.
