The American Lung Association in Indiana offers COPD 101 presentations to community members, businesses, and health care professionals. Trained volunteers will present at community centers, senior centers, work sites, and clinics to anyone interested in learning more about COPD. The COPD 101 curriculum is based from the NHLBI Learn More Breathe Better Campaign and is a basic overview of what COPD is, what the signs and symptoms are, treatment options, and how to live a healthy, active life with COPD.
If you are interested in hosting a COPD 101 presentation or would like to be trained in presenting COPD 101 information please contact Cynthia Isaacson at [email protected].
