Sarah Krikorian is the Chief Human Resources Officer for the American Lung Association and serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Krikorian is responsible for creating an organization environment where talented colleagues thrive in service of the mission to defeat lung disease. She delivers this strategy through innovative practices across all aspects of human resources, including employee experience, professional development, talent management, compensation, staffing and employee relations.
Krikorian has served as a strategic partner to executive leadership teams on human capital matters across a broad range of business environments. Prior to joining the American Lung Association in 2019, Krikorian was the US HR leader for the Wealth business of Mercer, a financial services and human resource consulting firm. Before that, she held HR leadership roles at BP Amoco based in the US and UK, with exposure to Western and Eastern Europe, South America and the Middle East.
Krikorian earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Arts in Labor & Employment Relations from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She lives in Chicago with her husband and three children.
