Find a Clinical Trial

The American Lung Association recommends considering clinical trials as soon as you are diagnosed, and every time you must make a treatment decision. Clinical trials are carefully monitored scientific research studies that test how well new medical approaches work in people. Each study answers scientific questions and tries to find better ways to prevent, screen for, diagnose or treat a disease.

ALOFT-IPF

A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Phase 3 Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of BMS-986278 in Participants With Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

ALOFT-PPF

A Multicenter, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Phase 3 Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of BMS-986278 in Participants With Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis

ELEVATE

The ELEVATE study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of the investigational drug LYT-100 (deupirfenidone) in people living with IPF. LYT-100 has been modified in a way that slows down metabolism of the drug compared to pirfenidone and has demonstrated improved tolerability compared to pirfenidone in previous studies.

HARBOR Study

The HARBOR Study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of a potential medicine (HZN-825) that may slow disease progression in participants with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).

MIST

This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 2 doses of AP01 versus placebo on top of standard of care in participants with PPF over 52 weeks. Up to 300 eligible participants will be randomized to 1 of 3 treatment arms: AP01 high dose, AP01 low dose, or placebo.

Sarilumab in Patients With Glucocorticoid-Dependent Sarcoidosis

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness and the safety of sarilumab in patients with glucocorticoid-dependent sarcoidosis.
