American Lung Association in Nevada Names Matthew T. Grimes New Leadership Board Chair

The American Lung Association in Nevada is proud to welcome Matthew T. Grimes as Chair of its statewide leadership board. This all-volunteer board provides leadership and governance in support of the American Lung Association mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.

Mr. Grimes is a seasoned professional in radiology, with more than 28 years’ experience in the field. Beginning as a Radiology Technologist with the University Medical Center in 1994, Matthew dedicated the next two-plus decades of his career to helping others. He has held executive positions at Desert Springs Hospital, Summerlin Hospital and Centennial Hills Hospital to name a few. He served as Associate Vice President of Specialty Services for HealthCare Partners Medical Group of Nevada prior to joining Desert Radiology (a Radiology Partners Practice) in 2016 where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer.

Grimes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiology Administration with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also has a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix and is licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Matt enjoys cooking, traveling, and hiking when he isn't working hard to improve the health and well-being of the people of Nevada.
