Open Airways for Schools® Facilitator Skills Building Workshop

At this time, you should have completed the first two Lung Training modules of the Open Airways for Schools® Facilitator Training:

✔ Asthma Basics

✔ OAS Facilitator Training Module

Next Steps to Complete Your Certification Training 

1.    Register for and complete your third and final module, the OAS Skills Building Workshop. The workshop may be offered in-person or virtually. If an OAS Skills Building session has already been scheduled with your school or workplace, enter the date and trainer name if known in space provided in the form below. 

All sessions listed below are offered nationwide and virtual. The OAS Skills Building virtual sessions takes approximately 90-120 minutes to complete. 

• For individuals that are participating in an “in-person” workshop locally, please select “Scheduled Workshop” and enter the date for your private session. 
• For individuals that are becoming facilitators as part of course credit, a private workshop will be set up for you. Select “Scheduled Workshop” and enter the date for your private session. 
• For all others, if you are not available at any of the listed times below, please check “None of the Above” and the American Lung Association will schedule an additional workshop to complete your certification. We appreciate your patience as we work with our team to get additional Skill Building Workshops scheduled and available for completion of your certification.

2.    Download your OAS Skills Building Workshop Certificate of Completion

3.    Return to Lung.Training where you took the previous modules and submit the certificate to move forward in the certification process.

4.    Complete the Course Evaluation.

5.    Celebrate the kickoff to your 3-year certification as an American Lung Association Open Airways for Schools® Facilitator!
